Basketball Live Scores Today
LivePlayScore brings you basketball live scores from the NBA, WNBA, EuroLeague, NCAA and top leagues around the world, updated in real time. Quarter-by-quarter scores, the game clock, team fouls, and player stats appear on this page as the action happens. It's free, and you don't need an account.
Basketball moves faster than almost any other sport. A 10-point lead can vanish in two minutes, and the last 30 seconds of a close game can take ten minutes of real time with all the timeouts and fouls. If you're stuck away from the TV, you still want to know when the run starts, who hit the big three, and whether it's heading to overtime. This page is built for that: open it, find your game, and you're caught up in seconds.
What You'll See on the Scoreboard
Each live game on this page shows the score, the current quarter, and the time left on the clock. Under that, you'll see the score for each quarter, so you can tell at a glance whether a team won it early or came back late.
Tap any game for the full picture:
- Box score: points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and minutes for every player on both teams.
- Shooting numbers: field goals, three-pointers and free throws, made and attempted, with percentages.
- Team stats: turnovers, fouls, points in the paint, fast-break points and bench scoring.
- Quarter breakdown: the score for each period, plus overtime when a game goes the distance.
If you just want the result, the scoreboard gives you that. If you want to know why your team gave up a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter, the box score usually has the answer, and it's often turnovers or free throws.
Leagues and Competitions We Cover

European basketball. The EuroLeague and EuroCup, with clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Fenerbahçe, Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and Žalgiris. We also follow Spain's Liga ACB, which is widely seen as the strongest domestic league outside the NBA.

International and other leagues. FIBA World Cup and qualifiers, Olympic basketball, Australia's NBL and the Chinese Basketball Association.

How Our Basketball Scores Are Updated
Our scores come from a professional real-time basketball data feed, the kind used by broadcasters and sports apps. The page updates by itself during games, so you don't need to keep refreshing.
Basketball has a few quirks that can make a score look odd for a moment. Here's how we handle them:
- Replay reviews and challenges. Officials sometimes check whether a shot was a two or a three, or whether it beat the shot clock. If a basket is changed or taken off after review, the score updates to match the official decision.
- Different game lengths. Not every league plays the same way. An NBA quarter is 12 minutes, while WNBA, EuroLeague, and FIBA quarters are 10 minutes. College men's games are played in two 20-minute halves. We show the right format for each league, so the clock always makes sense.
- Overtime. Tied games go to overtime, which is five minutes in both the NBA and FIBA rules. Each overtime period is shown on its own, so you can see exactly how the game was won.
- Postponed games. Weather, travel problems, and arena issues do happen. Postponed games are clearly marked rather than just disappearing from the list.
If you ever see a score that doesn't match what's on TV, let us know through our contact page. Reader reports have helped us catch mistakes, and we'd much rather fix them fast.
How to Read a Game in Seconds
If you're checking in halfway through, a few numbers tell you most of the story:
The quarter-by-quarter score. A team that's lost the last two quarters is usually in trouble, even if it's still ahead overall.
Team fouls. Once a team reaches the foul limit in a quarter, every foul sends the other side to the free-throw line. Late in a close game, that can decide everything.
Three-point shooting. A hot or cold night from the big changes games fast. If one team is shooting 45% from three and the other is at 25%, that's often the whole gap.
Turnovers. Giving the ball away leads to easy points at the other end. A big turnover difference often explains a big comeback.
Following More Than One Game
On a busy NBA night, there can be ten or more games tipping off within a few hours, and a EuroLeague double-round week is just as packed. The scoreboard puts live games at the top, followed by upcoming games and then final scores. You can move between leagues quickly, so it's easy to check the NBA, the EuroLeague, and college games in one sitting.
Basketball isn't the only sport we cover. If you like to switch sports during a busy weekend, you can also check our football live scores and cricket live score pages.
